5/29: MURPH Challenge & Memorial Day Community Gathering & BBQ
Join us this Memorial Day to honor a fallen hero, Navy SEAL Michael Murphy, as we participate in the official MURPH Challenge.
This is a family-focused event, where you can participate in the workout, or just come to hang out with friends and family, enjoy some great BBQ, and honor those that have fallen for our country.

6/2: Patrol Sight-In - Special Training Event Prep
This Class is an opportunity for students to sight in or confirm sight in of their patrol platform rifles. The objective is for all students to confirm zeroing per their specific optics at distances consistent of 100 up to 400 yards.
Hour 1
There will be a maximum of 10 students shooting at one time, all on one line and will only move down range with the line cold to tape targets downrange
Students will sight their rifles at 100 yards.
Students will refine sight in between 100 and 200 yard zero per their optic.
Hour 2
There will be a maximum of 10 students shooting at one time, all on one line and will only move down range to set and pick up steel targets with a cold range.
Students will move to the longer range berms to confirm and practice shooting at 150 yards, 200 yards, 300 yards, 400 yards. Positions for shooting will be Bench, Standing, Kneeling, and Prone.
WHO: Must be Able Shepherd Certified status in current standing AND be in process of obtaning the Patrol endorsement.

There will be three levels of this cirriculum, aimed at learning skills to reach targets further through advanced techniques in the wild.
This is the third in the required series, Patrol #3
**Participants that successfully pass the standard will be eligible for the “P” (Patrol) Endorsement on Able Shepherd coin.
WHO: Must be Able Shepherd Certified status in current standing AND have successfully complete Patrol 1 AND Patrol 2

These Sunday afternoon events are fun for the whole family. Join us with your kiddos and their mini bikes to learn and practice riding around a private property.
There are limited spots available so please be sure to sign up each rider.
Gear Required:
1. Each participant must bring their own off-road motorcycle
2. Protective Gear (ie. boots, helmet)
3. Signed Waiver for property owner

6/17: First Aid CPR AED Class
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.

There will be three levels of this cirriculum, aimed at learning skills to reach targets further through advanced techniques in the wild.
We are all familiar with Open Terrain (think outdoor range lanes), Close Terrain is a term used to describe an area with obstructions (trees, buildings, etc.). When patrolling through close terrain there are specific proven terms and tactics that are critical to know, understand and implement.
This is the first in the required series.

What is a Man?
Foundational Leadership for Safer Communities Seminar
What: A five-day, four-night mission. The objective of this mission is you. Not the current-culture version of you, the true version of you that is desperately needed by your family, your community and our nation.
topics to be covered: What is a man? Not our definition… You will leave with yours.
Public speaking – Gratitude and Perspective – Vision versus mission – Communication Mid-level confrontation – Find your calling – Leadership Skills – Team building Basic Orienteering – Fire-starting – Camping and Hiking 101.
An overnight experience in the wilderness will not be required, but will be highly encouraged. essential gear will be provided.
Who: Men, 18 and older, who are looking for more out of this life, and feel a calling to get started.
When: Monday, July 10, @ 2 PM through Friday, July 14, @ 2 PM where: Glen Eyrie, Christian Event Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado

7/15: Training at Longmont Police Range
SESSION 3: Two Person Entry and Clearance
Course Description: In this course students will be presented with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform and understand the 3 handgun safety rules, drawing from a holster and engaging targets at various distances. Additionally, students will be presented with the skills to engage with live adversaries in reality based scenarios making split second decisions in order to defend themselves while moving through multiple rooms.
Who: Responsible citizens, beginner to advanced, who are looking for a realistic application of shooting skills. Max: 10 Students
What: 4 sessions this year, each with Live-fire and Reality Based Training Simulations, designed to be taken individually or progressively to complement the next session.
When: Saturday, July 15th from 1pm to 6pm (5 hrs)
Where: Longmont Police Department and Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Range and Training Center,
